The K2 microscope lens from INFINITY Photo-Optical in the United States is widely recognized as the standard for long-working-distance microscopes. The K2 DistaMax incorporates a patented IVS focus system, further improving upon the previous model to make it more user-friendly. The single-port package of the K2 DistaMax features a manual iris diaphragm, allowing for adjustments to light levels and depth of field. In contrast, the dual-port package, which has two output ports, includes an integrated right-angle reflection mirror in addition to the components found in the single-port package, enabling light path switching (both ports cannot be observed simultaneously). It is ideal for applications ranging from remote vacuum chamber observation to online process control.
